Some of you best work.

You loose one star for those tail feathers - and more than enough said about that. As others has mentioned the real scoop in this one is that "water-breach" - or perhaps more precisely the contrast or difference in style contra the rest of the pictures. Lineart vs no lines and all that. Great work there buddy :)

thanks!

I like it -

Great colors and great textures. But perhaps next time try to make one that is a bit less cartoony. Great expression btw.

Where is he looking at?

That is a great expresion. Really well made. The eyes has a strange effect that makes it hard to find rest in the picture, but that is pretty cool in a way. But you could have cropped the picture. All that white space does no good in my opinion..

This time for africa!

I dig your newfound passion for large african mamals. This one looks great. The eye looks a bit flat though..

J-qb responds:

Yeah, the eye is a bit big... the problem is that it is supposed to be looking forward, but giraffes have eyes at the sides of their head. Anyways, thanks for the mentioning it, and the compliment!

Master of pixels!

I love those water-hlding thingys in front of the house. Great attention to details, but I think that the middle part of the roof might be a bit tilted, it seems a bit off..

TurkeyOnAStick responds:

You're right, but it's a result of my self-imposed limitation of keeping straight lines regular (5 by 5 by 5, not 5 by 4 by 5 ...)

I'm treating it as a forgivable error.

Great work.

Obviously the body, and the light on it is wonderfully well done. But what I really admire here is your handleing of the dark space. The amount darkness surrounding the model gives an idea of him being small and alone, but the sligthly lighter central part as well as the floor brings the background up close with the model and gives a claustrophopic feeling at the same time. Also light apparently comming from above, passing by him and reflecting on the floor before hitting him is a nice touch. It gives food for further thoughts about the possible duality of this picture. Great work :)

Awsome..

That dog is hillarious.. I like the text also :D
